On December 13, according to information from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, up to now, more than 3,800 candidates have submitted applications for the 2025 civil service exam, competing to recruit 829 school teachers and staff.
According to Plan No. 3456/KH-SGDDT dated November 14, 2025, Nghe An Department of Education and Training will recruit 829 teachers and staff at preschool, primary and secondary levels in the first recruitment round of the 2025-2026 school year. Of which, 780 targets are teachers at all levels, 49 targets are school staff, including accountants, clerical, library, equipment - laboratory, school health and teaching.
Not only Nghe An, fierce competition in recruiting education officials also occurs in many other localities. In Ha Tinh, in the recent civil servant recruitment exam, there were about 1,820 applications while the assigned quota was 297 positions, with an average of more than 6 candidates competing for each position.
This reality shows that the human resources in the pedagogical sector are currently in excess of the recruitment needs of localities. The great pressure of employment makes teacher recruitment exams attract special attention from society, while posing high requirements for objectivity and transparency in recruitment organization.
According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, this is the first time the recruitment of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers has been directly assigned to the Department. Recruitment will be organized according to procedures, publicly and transparently, in order to select candidates with sufficient capacity, meeting the requirements of adding a team of teachers and staff of schools in the area.
