The science and technology research competition for high school students in Phu Tho province for the 2025-2026 school year will take place for 3 days from December 20, 2025 at Viet Tri Technical High School (Van Phu ward, Phu Tho province).

Notably, after merging the old province (both Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh), this year's contest recorded a record participation of 243 projects from 235 educational institutions across the province, including junior high schools, high schools and vocational education/permanent education centers.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, hundreds of student projects are displayed at the school's multi-purpose building, in small rooms to serve the presentation and judging work.
Notably, not only the number of participating projects is large, but this competition has high diversity in ideas and practicality, with 17 out of 22 science fields having projects participating.
Many projects have been created, researched, designed, and invested quite carefully in terms of technology and techniques such as: Smart mobile charging station project with a cost of only 720 thousand VND, equal to 1/7 of the market price; multi-purpose public station project using solar energy with 4 functions: Water, charging, wifi, lights; project to design and manufacture a model of water rocket for testing environmental monitoring satellites (sterilans) operating stably, helping to collect environmental data...
Or the project of warning stations for natural disasters, floods, and landslides - built on the idea of creating an early warning system, applying modern technology to monitor and send notices when detecting dangerous conditions, to protect the safety of people living in areas at high risk of natural disasters.
The main ideas of the project include: Automatic and continuous monitoring system; warning messages and calls; sending GPS positioning to rescue stations; using solar energy for independent operation; displaying visual information with newspapers and audio; simple design, easy to deploy and maintain; developing into a model for replication.

Not only that, there are many projects where students apply AI technology to their studies and lives; many projects aim to help students use social networks safely, participate in safe traffic, or contribute to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage...
According to the Organizing Committee, the competition is not only an intellectual playground but also an important lever to encourage students to nurture their passion for scientific research, while promoting creative thinking and the ability to solve practical problems, contributing to innovating teaching and learning methods in the direction of capacity development, linking theory with practice.
Each project that students bring to the contest is a creative solution to problems arising from life and production.
This is an important premise to form a high-quality human resource team in the future for the province in particular and further the country.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will select the best projects to participate in the next round of selection.
The most outstanding representatives will officially represent the Land of Group Education sector to compete in the National Science and Technology Competition.
