November 5 is the second day that Dai Thanh Secondary School (Cam Binh Commune) continues to clean up mud and soil at school after floods.
Mr. Ha Van Sang - Principal of Dai Thanh Secondary School - said that yesterday, the school was supported by officers and soldiers of Regiment 841 of the Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command to clear the mud.
Today, officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ha Tinh Province Police helped clear the mud in the schoolyard.
"By this afternoon, the cleaning work at the school had been completed. Although we know that there are still some students in low-lying areas that are still flooded, we are impatient because we have been absent from school for many days, and from tomorrow the school will resume teaching. Those who are in unsafe places can still proactively stay home from school, Mr. Sang shared.

The recent flood flood flooded the yard of Dai Thanh Secondary School about 1.5m, and flooded the first floor classroom nearly 1m. The school has had to let students take a day off from school since Friday (October 30).
About 1km from Dai Thanh Secondary School, on November 5, Cam Thanh Primary School (Cam Binh Commune) also continued to clean up mud and soil, and clean classrooms and schoolyards. This is the third day the school has organized a cleaning session after the flood.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Son - Principal of Cam Thanh Primary School - said that today, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Mobile Police, veterans, and teachers of some schools came to help the school continue clearing the mud.
" By this afternoon, the school's mud cleaning was complete. The school also wants to announce the resumption of teaching from tomorrow. However, because some residential areas are still flooded with roads about 1 meter deep, it feels unsafe for students to go to school, so the school is considering, Mr. Son shared.

During the recent flood, Cam Thanh Primary School was flooded into a classroom nearly 1 meter deep, and students of the school had to stay home from school since October 30.

At Tan Lam Huong 1 Kindergarten (Ha Huy Tap ward), on November 5, the school is organizing a mud cleanup immediately after the water receded. Cleaning is being focused on to welcome the children back to school soon.
Previously, due to floods, from October 31, the whole province of Ha Tinh had 51 676 educational institutions with 36,768 students having to stay home from school. After the water gradually receded, many schools have returned to normal teaching.
Only some schools in the downstream area of Ke Go Lake have water receding slowly, so the mud and cleaning of schools is later, so the organization of teaching and learning is slower.
