Ha Tinh - A worker driving a excavator and a truck driver while clearing rocks and soil to clear the route continued to slide, causing both the vehicle and the engine to collapse, injuring 2 people.

According to an officer of the Traffic Infrastructure Management Department of the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, the incident occurred at 4:40 p.m. on November 4 at Km 84+700 of Provincial Road 547 (Ha Tinh coastal road) in Ky Xuan Commune, Ha Tinh Province.

At that time, Ha Tinh Traffic Construction and Management Joint Stock Company was implementing the clearing of landslides that occurred from the morning of November 4 to clear the route when suddenly soil and rocks from the mountain continued to slide and overflow to the construction site.

The incident caused the excavator and the truck to collapse, the workers driving the excavator and a truck driver were seriously injured in the right hand and foot and went to a medical facility for treatment.

After the incident, the Department of Transport Infrastructure Management banned people and vehicles from traveling through this section, and stopped the cleanup until the weather was stable before continuing.
