On May 17, Saigon International University held a graduation certificate awarding ceremony for new masters and new bachelors.
Le Thi My Quyen, a student majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, is the valedictorian of the 2024 graduation class with an average accumulation score of 3.72/4 - an excellent rating.
Not only excellent in studying, the female valedictorian also made a strong impression through a series of prestigious competitions such as: First Prize of Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Round the grassroots round 2022; First Prize of SIU LOG-TALENT 2023, along with many school-level scientific research awards.
In particular, at the 5th Student and Student contest with startup ideas (SV_STARTUP), My Quyen and her colleagues won the Encouragement Prize for their creative idea of phone cases made from rice coils, a product with a strong message of environmental protection.
Sharing about the secret to learning, the female valedictorian said that instead of creating pressure by running for scores, My Quyen has found a way to enjoy learning as a gentle but effective flow.
"This method has helped me change my approach to studying and my whole life. I become more persistent and can focus on each small step on my long journey. studying with me has never been a pressure," My Quyen said.
Speaking about his major, Quyen said that being able to directly observe the operating process at the port, learn about customs procedures and how the departments coordinate smoothly has helped Quyen realize that Logistics is not just dry numbers or theories but a vivid system, requiring accuracy and coordination up to every moment.
Regarding her future orientation, the female valedictorian said she will continue to study and conduct in-depth research at a higher level. "For me, studying is a journey without stops. I want to continue to research, contribute and develop to be able to create practical values for the profession I pursue".
With the outstanding achievements she has achieved, new valedictorian Le Thi My Quyen has received a full Master's Talent scholarship from SIU Postgraduate Institute, including 100% tuition and living expenses of 15 million VND/month.
