Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced on March 17 the scores of the second thinking assessment test (taking place on March 8-9) of nearly 19,000 candidates. Of which, the contestant with the highest score came from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh province with 92.69/100 points.
In the top 10 most excellent students, there are two other students at this school, ranked 2nd (92.56 points) and 7th respectively.
There were 4 contestants with over 90 points, 67 contestants with over 80 points, 847 contestants with over 70 points. The average score of the second round is 54.39/100, lower than the first round (54.54 points).
The scores of the second round of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology 2025 thinking assessment exam are as follows:

Previously, the first round took place on January 18 and 19, with nearly 14,000 contestants attending. The valedictorian of the first phase is Vu Minh Duc, a student at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted.
The male student achieved 98.61/100 points, the highest in the history of the exam.
Starting from 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will issue a Certificate of Exam Results to candidates in the form of electronic registration numbers and will be sent directly to the candidate's exam registration account on the system.
The results of the thinking assessment test will be used in the university admission work for the 2025 admission season with more than 50 schools using them.
The plan to convert the thinking assessment test scores to the same admission scores as other methods will be based on the prescribed results of each school. For Hanoi University of Science and Technology, it is expected that the weight of the scores for the competency assessment test will be higher and given priority in the conversion formula.
