Taking teachers as the center
In the context of new development requirements, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province is synchronously implementing many tasks and solutions to stabilize the organization, improve the quality of education and training, and meet the goal of human resource development for the next stage.
In particular, improving the quality of the teaching staff is identified as a key direction, with long-term decisiveness.
According to Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri Le Thi Huong, in the 2024-2025 school year, the provincial education sector has basically completed key tasks and achieved many outstanding results.
The implementation of the 2018 General Education Program has been implemented synchronously; the quality of key education continues to be improved with 115 national excellent student awards; the high school graduation rate reached 98.89%.
From that practice, the Quang Tri Education sector continues to clearly identify key tasks including perfecting the institution of education management according to the two-level local government model; improving the quality of preschool, general education and continuing education; developing the team of teachers and managers; promoting digital transformation; effectively mobilizing investment resources for education.

practice shows that the quality of the teaching staff plays a decisive role in the effectiveness of educational innovation. Therefore, Quang Tri identifies the development of the teaching staff not only as standardizing qualifications but also aiming to improve professional capacity, the ability to adapt to digital transformation requirements and innovate teaching methods.
In recent times, the education sector has focused on regular training, raising training standards for teachers at all levels, especially preschool, primary and secondary school teachers.
Training programs on innovating teaching methods, applying information technology, and building digital lectures have been widely implemented, contributing to helping teachers proactively adapt to the new program.
Along with expertise, the work of fostering professional ethics, political courage and management capacity for the education staff has also been enhanced. This is considered an important foundation for Quang Tri education to effectively implement the goal of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in the coming period.
Education for long-term development
In parallel with improving the quality of the teaching staff, Quang Tri promotes the linkage of education with human resource development, especially young human resources. In the period of 2021-2025, the province has synchronously implemented many solutions to improve the quality of vocational training and create stable jobs for young people.
The system of vocational training institutions in the province has been consolidated and the training content has been innovated in the direction of being closely linked to practice. The training program focuses on equipping professional knowledge, soft skills, startup skills and the ability to adapt to a modern working environment, meeting the requirements of international integration and digital transformation.

In the past 5 years, the whole province has trained more than 583,700 workers; on average, each year, it creates jobs for about 34,000 people, of which young people account for over 70%. Vocational training is oriented to focus on areas with potential and advantages such as high-tech agriculture, services - tourism, processing industry and digital economy.
Along with vocational training, the province focuses on developing high-quality young human resources through policies to attract excellent graduates according to Decree 140/2017/ND-CP.
The results achieved show that the direction of improving the quality of teachers as a foundation, linking education with human resource development is creating clear changes. This is an important premise for Quang Tri to continue promoting educational innovation and developing high-quality human resources in the period of 2026-2030, serving the goal of industrialization, modernization and international integration.
