Da Nang - On the morning of November 5, the city's Department of Education and Training announced that preschool children, students, and trainees across the city will be off school from this afternoon due to heavy rain.

On the night of November 4 and early morning of November 5, heavy rains occurred in the city, causing flooding in many areas and roads. To ensure the safety of students, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training promptly directed the Department of Education and Training of districts, schools, and centers under the Department to proactively decide based on the situation to let students take the morning or all day off on November 5.

According to information from the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of the city, it is forecasted that this afternoon and evening, in the districts of Da Nang city, there will continue to be heavy rain, very heavy rain. The Department of Education and Training requested heads of units and schools to notify preschool children, students and trainees in the whole city to have a day off on the afternoon of November 5.

The Department of Education and Training requires units to strictly implement the directives of the Department of Education and Training and local leaders on natural disaster and flood prevention. Regularly update information on the current heavy rain situation; maintain contact through multiple information channels to proactively respond safely and minimize damage caused by heavy rain.
