On September 4, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that educational institutions in the province have completed preparations, ready to welcome students to school, officially entering the 2025-2026 school year.
This school year has an important new point when for the first time the Ministry of Education and Training directed all educational institutions from universities, colleges to high schools to hold the opening ceremony simultaneously on September 5.
Dak Lak currently has more than 1,300 educational institutions with over 690,000 students from preschool to high school and continuing vocational education.

On the eve of the new school year, many schools in remote areas, where many ethnic minorities live, have carefully prepared their facilities. Teachers also directly go to each household to petition, not letting students stay home from school for any reason.
Mr. Bui Van Huan - Vice Principal of Ea Bong Primary School (Ea Na Commune) - said that in the 2025 - 2026 school year, the school has 3 branches with 488 students.
D'Ham village branch alone has nearly 200 students, 100% of whom are ethnic minorities. The Board of Directors pays special attention, assigning teachers to weak students and closely following students in difficult circumstances. In the past two years, no student here has dropped out of school halfway.

At Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O Commune, Ea Kar District), Principal Nguyen Tien Dung said that in the new school year, nearly 40% of students are ethnic minorities, many of whom are poor and near-poor households, and some are 10km from school.
The school regularly awards scholarships, provides material support, and coordinates with parents and localities to encourage students at risk of dropping out of school to continue going to class.
According to Mr. Dung, helping students in difficulty is not only an immediate support but also a long-term motivation. Thereby, contributing to building a positive educational environment, helping students have the opportunity to rise up.
