Understand the nature of knowledge instead of memorizing
When he knew he was the valedictorian of Lam Dong province with a total score of 37.75, Nguyen Hong Viet still could not hide his surprise.

I just thought I did quite well on the test and didn't think I would get such a high score," Viet confided.
The male student's transcript is impressive with 10 points in Math, 9.75 points in Physics, 9.75 points in Chemistry and 8.25 points in Literature.
According to Viet, this result does not come from studying too much but thanks to a suitable learning method.
For Physics and Chemistry, the most important thing is to understand the nature of knowledge instead of memorizing.
When mastering the principle, students can flexibly apply it to solve many different types of problems.
Regarding Math, Viet believes that it is necessary to practice regularly, train thinking and not be afraid to ask questions.
If I encounter a difficult problem, I will ask teachers or talk to friends until I understand. When I understand deeply, I will remember for a long time and be more confident when entering the exam room," Viet said.
In addition to studying in class, the male student also actively reads in-depth books, refers to exam questions from previous years and studies in groups with friends.
According to Viet, having friends with the same goals helps create motivation to study, and at the same time support each other to remove difficult knowledge parts.
The male student also believes that the knowledge base accumulated from lower grades is very meaningful. When grasping basic knowledge, studying the 12th grade program and preparing for exams will be much easier.
Discipline in study, humility in success
Besides studying, Viet always maintains a balance between studying and resting. "Learning is studying, playing is playing. When studying, focusing wholeheartedly, and when resting, resting really to keep the spirit comfortable," Viet shared.

In my opinion, in important exams, psychology plays a very large role. Maintaining calmness will help candidates develop their true abilities.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Hong - Vice Principal of Nguyen Chi Thanh Specialized High School, Nguyen Hong Viet is an outstanding student not only in academic achievements but also in his receptive spirit and serious attitude.
Viet is always proactive in studying, actively exchanging with teachers and friends and very humble. These are the qualities that helped me achieve excellent results in this year's exam," Ms. Hong commented.
After the exam, Viet plans to register for his favorite university to continue pursuing the field of science.
For this male student, the valedictorian title is not the destination but the starting point for a new learning journey.
Nguyen Hong Viet's achievements not only bring pride to his family and school, but also inspire many students about the value of discipline, self-learning spirit and perseverance.
Because behind the almost absolute scores is a serious learning process, persistently conquering each lesson and constantly striving to rise up.
