Nguyen Thi Duc Minh (sister) and Nguyen Duc Sang (em), born in 2003, are from the former Vinh Phuc province, now Phu Tho. The two sisters just graduated with honors from Hanoi National University of Education in June.
In which, Duc Minh became the new head of the Geography Pedagogy Department (GPA 3.92/4.0) of the school. During his 4 years of university, he actively participated in extracurricular activities, learning and training movements of the Youth Union and Association in the school; was the valedictorian of the K71 Geography Department; received many titles and large and small awards. Duc Minh has also just become a Party member at the age of 22.
Duc Sang graduated from the same school as his sister in Mathematics Pedagogy with an excellent degree. In particular, he has completed a part of the Master's program since his third year of university and will continue to complete his notes from next October.
"I am very proud of this achievement of both of them and am grateful to their parents for always accompanying and creating the best conditions for our studies, especially the learning environment" - Duc Minh expressed.

Born and raised in the countryside of Vinh Tuong, Phu Tho (old Vinh Phuc), the twin brothers Duc Minh and Duc Sang studied together at a primary and secondary school near their home. In 2018, the two sisters were determined to take the entrance exam to the province's specialized school and both passed.
Duc Minh majored in Geography and Duc Sang majored in Mathematics at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted. A good learning environment helps the two sisters promote their abilities, making it into the province's gold record in excellent student competitions, from the provincial, regional to national levels.
Right from grade 10, Duc Minh's sister won the second prize for excellent students at the provincial level in Geography and continued to maintain it in grade 11, moving up to the first prize in the final year of the school. In the national excellent student award, he won the Third and Second prizes in Geography in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Meanwhile, Duc Sang's younger brother pursued the subject of Mathematics and won the first prize at the provincial level and the second prize at the national level right from the 11th grade. In her final year, she continued to win the First Prize at the provincial level and the Third Prize at the national level. Along with that, Duc Sang also won a Gold medal (top 2 Vietnam) at IGO (Iran Physics Olympiad) in 2020 and Hung Vuong Summer School in 2019 (excellent student award for the provinces in the Midlands, Northern mountainous region and the expanded).

With the above achievements, both students were admitted directly to Hanoi National University of Education, majoring in Geography and Mathematics Education.
Thanks to the guidance of their parents and teachers, Duc Sang and Duc Minh decided to continue their 4-year together at Hanoi National University of Education. But more importantly, both students realized their passion and potential when pursuing a teaching career.
"I was encouraged by high school teachers to study pedagogical subjects so that I could later return to school to teach and also see opportunities to promote my abilities in the teaching profession. Therefore, I did not hesitate to make a single wish as a Math teacher when considering university admission that year" - Duc Sang shared.
As a twin couple, studying together from childhood to university, the two sisters have always accompanied and supported each other in their studies and life.
Because he has a strength in Math, Sang often helps his sister study this subject. "Ming's parents said that when she was young, Minh used to write the number 5 backwards, so they had to ask her to write a note for her" - Sang said.
Minh recalled that his younger brother helped him study Math in high school and studied Social Statistics at university. "Sometimes I have difficulty teaching them to Sang and I get a final score of 9.5 in this subject" - Minh said.
Currently, both students have just accepted a job at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted (Phu Tho), one of the leading specialized schools in the country, which is also the school they were attached to when they were in high school. This October, Duc Sang will continue studying the remainder of the Master's program at the Faculty of Mathematics - Information Technology, Hanoi National University of Education. Duc Minh will also study for a Master's degree in the school's Geography Department.
