Luu Son Primary School (Do Luong Commune) and Cam Son Secondary School (Anh Son Commune) have more than 900 students who are suffering heavy damage due to the recent storms No. 10 and 11. Many tables and chairs, shelves, books, stories... have been washed away or damaged by water and cannot be reused.
The bookcases with books, stories, and literary works sent by Vietnam Post staff brought them joy and motivation to study right after the storm.

The books given away will be a source of knowledge, contributing to nurturing the dream of studying and creating a habit of reading for students in areas with many difficulties. At the same time, spreading good human values, the spirit of sharing and social responsibility that Vietnam Post has always persistently implemented.
Not only donating books, Vietnam Post also supports 12 new sets of tables and chairs, replacing equipment damaged by natural disasters, bringing a more spacious and safer learning space to students.
The program also gave children fresh milk, candy, backpacks, new books and practical learning materials. In particular, the Vietnam Post Office has also donated a portion of the money to the Education Promotion Fund of the two schools, to encourage the spirit of overcoming difficulties, recognizing the students' continuous efforts to improve their studies.

The program was held on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival with the theme "Send the season of words - Send the season of the moon" and brought flooded students a colorful and warm festival with lion dance performances, art and unique folk games.
Previously, Vietnam Post also cooperated with brands to give more than 1,000 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to students at two schools, contributing to giving them a full moon of love, helping them temporarily forget the difficulties after the storm, adding joy and determination in studying.
We are really touched and grateful to receive the attention and support from the Vietnam Post Office. The meaningful gifts in material and spiritual terms have given motivation and confidence to students and teachers on their journey to overcome difficulties. This will be a great source of encouragement for the school to continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the coming time, said teacher Le Thi Tinh, Principal of Luu Son Primary School.
With the message "Each book given away - a million green shoots", the program "Building a reading culture with the Vietnam Post Office" continues to be expanded nationwide, encouraging the reading movement in the community, especially the younger generation - the country's preschools.

Ms. Do Lan Phuong, Deputy Head of Marketing Communications and Customer Service, Vietnam Post Corporation, said that each book is a gift of knowledge, a bridge to help them nurture their dreams, develop themselves and steadily step forward in their learning journey.
This is how Vietnam Post fulfills its commitment to accompany the community through practical and humane actions. In the coming time, we will continue to implement the program in many localities across the country, first of all Thanh Hoa province to contribute to bringing more opportunities to access knowledge to students in disadvantaged areas," Ms. Do Lan Phuong added.
