Career orientation right from the first year
In the context of businesses increasingly emphasizing practical capacity, many training institutions have adjusted their teaching methods in the direction of "learning with practice". At Gia Dinh University (GDU), this orientation has been implemented for many years.
At the graduation ceremony on April 19, more than 1,000 new bachelors and masters of the school completed training programs in many fields. Not only is it an academic milestone, this event also reflects how the school prepares human resources for the labor market.

One of the notable points is the streamlined learning roadmap, allowing students to complete the program in about 3 years. In parallel, the school promotes internship activities right from the first year, helping students soon access the business environment, understand career requirements and personal development orientation.
According to many studies in the field of higher education, students with real-world experiences in the learning process are often easier to adapt when entering the labor market.
Hoang Trong Khang - a new Bachelor of Laws from GDU said that participating in internships early helps him have the opportunity to experience many positions before choosing a suitable job, thereby becoming more confident when entering the actual working environment.
Strengthening business connection
In addition to innovating the training program, GDU focuses on expanding cooperation with businesses to narrow the gap between lecture halls and recruitment needs.
Currently, the school is cooperating with more than 300 businesses in fields such as finance, technology, services and media. Some typical partners include Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, WACOM Vietnam, New World Saigon Hotel, La Vela Saigon Hotel, Saigon Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, Ben Thanh Law Company Limited...
Through this, students have more opportunities to intern and find jobs while still studying.

In addition, the Job Fair is held annually, attracting hundreds of businesses to participate in direct recruitment.
This is considered an important bridge, helping students access the actual needs of the market, while creating conditions for businesses to find suitable human resources.
M.A. Dr. Trinh Huu Chung - Vice Rector of the school said that the gap between training and recruitment needs is still one of the major "bottlenecks" of the Vietnamese labor market.
According to him, proactively connecting businesses right during the training process is an effective solution to narrow this gap.
We not only provide knowledge, but also aim to train citizens who are adaptable, creative and ready to integrate. Student success in the labor market is the clearest measure of training quality," Mr. Chung emphasized.
Towards flexible, integrated human resources
In the context of a constantly fluctuating labor market, the training model associated with practice is considered an inevitable trend. When the gap between lecture halls and businesses is narrowed, students have more opportunities to develop their abilities and be ready to join the labor market.
With more than 1,000 new graduates in this phase, GDU contributes to supplementing the young labor force for the economy, while aiming to train human resources with practical skills, flexible thinking and integration capabilities.

In 2026, the school will consider admission for 69 majors and specializations in many fields, with tuition fees ranging from 1 - 1.4 million VND/credit, equivalent to public universities. At the same time, a scholarship policy up to 100% of the tuition fee for the first semester is implemented to support candidates to access learning opportunities.
