Saigon University said that it will not implement equivalent conversion of the admission method using the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam to the admission method using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam for majors with a combination of A00 and C00.
According to the school, the reason is that there is not enough basis for equivalent conversion.
Thus, in addition to the teacher training majors at schools that are not considered for admission based on the competency assessment test scores announced before, there are now some majors that are not considered for admission in this form such as: Applied Math, Data Science, etc.
In 2025, Saigon University will enroll students according to 4 methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores; considering V-SAT entrance assessment results.
