Saigon University said that the Computer-based entrance assessment test (V-SAT) is for students who are in grade 12 or have graduated/not graduated in previous years, have graduated from intermediate or high school abroad.
Saigon University will organize 4 exams, the exam time is in April and May 2025. Candidates register to take the exam on the electronic information portal and are allowed to register for multiple exams, each time with multiple subjects.

The results of the exam can help candidates apply for admission to majors not related to teacher training majors of Saigon University in 2025 or apply to some schools that use this method.
The exam content is in the high school program, mainly the grade 12 program (about 90% of knowledge is from the grade 12 program; about 10% of knowledge is from the grade 10 and 11 programs).
Candidates take the test on a computer. The subjects of Math, Literature are 90 minutes; the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography are 60 minutes.
The exam fee is 130,000 VND/subject/test, for Literature alone, it is 150,000 VND/test.

In 2025, Saigon University plans to consider admission according to the following methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (maximum of 5% of the quota), considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test (10%), considering the results of the V-SAT computer-based entrance exam (15%), considering high school graduation exam scores (minimum 70%).
