On the afternoon of July 28, Saigon University announced the implementation of equivalent conversion for the admission method using the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam.
Saigon University said that it has just received an official dispatch on adding a differential table equivalent to the competency assessment test scores for 2 admission combinations of the high school graduation exam score method, A00 and C00. Therefore, the school has enough basis and will implement equivalent conversion between the two methods for the school's admission majors using the competency assessment method with the basic admission combinations of A00, A01, B00, C00, C01, D01.
Previously, Saigon University announced that it would not implement equivalent conversion of the admission method using the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam to the admission method using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam for majors with the combination of A00 and C00 because there was not enough basis to implement equivalent conversion.
In 2025, Saigon University will enroll students according to 4 methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores; considering V-SAT entrance assessment results.
According to the university admission schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, today's 5:00 p.m. is the deadline for candidates to register and adjust their wishes. Candidates pay the online admission fee from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5.
The 2025 university benchmark score will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
