According to the results of the inspection of the management and implementation of a number of educational activities at private educational institutions in the province, which have just been announced by the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, Le Quy Don Primary - Secondary - High School has a campus area of 8,696.9 m2 and has been granted a certificate of land use rights. However, the land use rights (plot No. 38, map sheet No. 07) and assets attached to the land are being seized by the Tan Phu District Judgment Enforcement Department to ensure enforcement according to Decision No. 04/2017/QD-KDTN dated September 11, 2017 of the Tan Phu District People's Court, to enforce the judgment, and to pay Eximbank more than VND 15 billion and interest according to the credit contract.
Accordingly, the unit cannot ensure the conditions to continue operating.
Regarding facilities, subject classrooms (Music, Fine Arts, Foreign Languages) and the Library and Equipment rooms lack required equipment; many classrooms have damaged desks and chairs that do not meet the required standards.
The rooms for the female boarding area are deteriorating, the equipment in the boarding rooms is lacking and damaged.
The first grade classes did not meet the assigned enrollment targets, the number of students per class was lower than the regulations, in the 2023-2024 school year, the whole school had 12 classes with 163 students, each grade had only 1 class.
Based on the above assessment results, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, Truong Thi Kim Hue, proposed that the Department of Education and Training not assign enrollment targets for the 2024-2025 school year to Le Quy Don Primary, Secondary and High School (Tan Phu district).
Request the School to promptly overcome the above-mentioned problems, ensure sufficient conditions for students of the remaining grades to study according to the educational program prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training; Prepare plans, develop solutions, and agree with parents to ensure the learning process of students when competent authorities decide to suspend the school's operations.
