According to the approved plan "Overall arrangement of the network of public preschool, general, and continuing education institutions in accordance with local authorities at two levels in Tuyen Quang province", the whole province will arrange and merge from 1,063 to 578 educational institutions.
Thus, Tuyen Quang will reduce up to 485 schools, reaching a reduction rate of 45.6%.
In which, the secondary school level reduced 70% of the number of schools, from 240 schools to only 72 schools (a decrease of 168 schools); the primary school level decreased by 66.7%, from 279 schools to 93 schools (a decrease of 186 schools), the preschool level decreased by 50.6%, from 354 schools to 175 schools (a decrease of 179 schools); GDTX, GDNN decreased by 66.7%, from 18 centers to 6 centers (a decrease of 12 centers); the high school level decreased by 14.9%, from 47 schools to 40 schools (a decrease of 7 schools).
The inter-level school model (TH&THCS and THCS&THPT) increased after the merger. Accordingly, TH&THCS increased by 158 schools (equivalent to 62.9%), THCS&THPT increased by 34 schools (equivalent to 21.4%).
The plan to rearrange public educational institutions is built based on population size and population distribution, in order to create the most favorable conditions for learners and improve the quality of education.
At the same time, expand the scale of schools and classes to effectively use facilities and human resources, and streamline management focal points.
