Hung Yen - National Assembly Deputy candidate Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang focuses on perfecting education policies, promoting STEM and digital transformation in schools.

According to the Resolution of the Hung Yen Provincial Election Commission announcing the official list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly deputies by constituency, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang - Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Quang Trung Primary and Secondary School (Pho Hien ward, Hung Yen province) is one of the 5 candidates in constituency No. 4.

Being introduced in the list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly is a great honor for Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang. The female principal said that this is not only a recognition of her work process but also a great responsibility if she is trusted and chosen by voters.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang has 23 years of working in the education sector, having held many positions from classroom teacher to management official. With long-term practical experience in the field of education, she is particularly interested in perfecting education policies, considering this as one of the key contents if she becomes a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term.

According to Ms. Trang, investing in education is investing in the future. The quality of human resources will determine the sustainable development of society. Therefore, education policies need to be built based on practice, close to the needs of schools, teachers and students to be able to go into life.

In her action program, the female candidate said that she will actively participate in contributing opinions and perfecting policies and laws related to education and training. One of the key contents is the implementation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development.

In addition, education needs to be strongly innovated in both content and teaching methods, towards a modern education, encouraging students' creative thinking. According to Ms. Trang, it is necessary to strengthen STEM education in schools, and at the same time gradually make English the second language in the education system.

Along with that, promoting digital transformation in education is also an urgent requirement. Applying technology, especially artificial intelligence, in management and teaching will help improve educational efficiency, creating conditions for Vietnamese education to deeply integrate with the world.

Another issue that the female candidate for the 16th National Assembly is particularly concerned about is reducing the pressure of studying and exams for students, while ensuring fair learning opportunities for all children.

According to Ms. Trang, education is not only aimed at conveying knowledge but also must help students develop comprehensively in skills, thinking and personality, thereby creating a solid foundation for the young generation in the future.
