On March 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Kar commune (Dak Lak province) said that the unit had organized a meeting between voters and candidates for the 11th Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, term 2026 – 2031, (including Ea Kar and Ea O communes).
Participating in the meeting were 5 candidates including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh - Deputy Head of the Legal Affairs Committee of Dak Lak Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dinh Van Hung - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Mr. Y Nghiem Nie - Head of security team of Nhang Ae Tlu hamlet, M'Drak commune; Mr. Pham Dong Thanh - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial Business Association (Director of An Phuoc Automobile Transport Co., Ltd.); Mr. Tran Quang Trung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Kar commune.
Presenting his action program, Mr. Pham Dong Thanh affirmed: "If I am trusted by voters to be elected as a delegate of the Provincial People's Council, I will focus on 4 key task groups.
I will propose that the province soon plan and establish a logistics center in Dak Lak, associated with the province's key raw material area, including the Ea Kar and Ea O communes.
This center will integrate warehouses, preservation, preliminary processing, multimodal transport connection and customs services, thereby contributing to reducing transportation costs and improving the competitiveness of local agricultural products".
According to Mr. Thanh, in his role as a democratically elected representative, he will propose policies to promote the improvement of transport infrastructure, strengthen the connection of production areas with national highways, border gates and seaports.
At the same time, promote the application of digital transformation in transport management, product traceability, helping people and cooperatives access the market more conveniently.
In addition, he also oriented to create more sustainable jobs for local workers, especially young workers and ethnic minorities.
From the practical operation of the enterprise, he said that he will continue to coordinate with training institutions to train vocational skills and improve skills in the fields of transportation, logistics and support services.
I determine that the elected representative is not only a representative of the voice of the People but also must act with responsibility, practical understanding and the spirit of innovation.
With many years of management experience and the aspiration to develop transport and logistics infrastructure in the province, I want to make practical contributions to reduce costs, increase value for agricultural products and increase income for people," Mr. Thanh emphasized.
According to Mr. Tran Quang Trung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Kar commune, if he is trusted by voters to be elected as a representative of the People's Council, he himself will actively propose to the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee to prioritize investment in transportation, irrigation, electricity, and water infrastructure to serve production and people's lives; support agricultural restructuring towards commodity production, application of science and technology; develop key products, OCOP products; promote production - consumption linkages of agricultural products, create jobs and increase income for people in Ea Kar and Ea O communes.
At the same time, it is proposed to remove difficulties in compensation, site clearance, land management, and issuance of land use right certificates; ensuring that projects are implemented in accordance with planning, publicly and transparently.
I will reflect and propose to the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to pay attention to investing in education, health and cultural institutions; fully implement policies for people with meritorious services, poor households, ethnic minorities; contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and improving the quality of life of the people," Mr. Trung added.
