On December 10, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hoi - Captain of the Phu Lam Traffic Police Team under the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department (PC08, Ho Chi Minh City Police) said that he had invited Nguyen Dang Huy (the young man who drove a motorbike carrying bulky goods like a "circus" posted on social networks) to be punished for carrying goods exceeding the prescribed limit.
Nguyen Dang Huy was also fined for driving without a driver’s license or vehicle registration. For these violations, Huy was fined 2.8 million VND.
Previously, on December 7, many people shared a 13-second video clip on social media, recording the scene of a young man driving a motorbike carrying corrugated iron sheets on National Highway 1A, passing through the An Suong - An Lac toll station, Binh Tan District (HCMC).
To keep the roll of corrugated iron in balance, which was too big for the motorbike, the young man had to lean to the left and drive the motorbike fast on the road, regardless of the danger it posed to other road users.
It is worth mentioning that the corrugated iron sheets are not carefully wrapped, and if they accidentally fall onto the road, they could cause accidents for other road users.
Many people were outraged by the young man's disregard for the Traffic Law, and at the same time requested that the authorities investigate and handle the young man to ensure the safety of traffic participants.
