Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang and related departments, branches and units inspected key transport projects in the province on the afternoon of July 24.
The inspected projects include: DT.857 construction project; National Highway 30 upgrade project, Cao Lanh - Hong Ngu section, Dong Thap province (phase 3); An Phong - Tan Binh ferry terminal project.
According to the report, the DT.857 route construction project has so far reached more than 48% of progress; the bridge section is basically completed, the road section is speeding up construction progress.
The project to upgrade National Highway 30, Cao Lanh - Hong Ngu section, Dong Thap province (phase 3) with a route length of more than 14 km, has so far reached more than 83%, expected to be technically open to traffic on September 25.
Regarding the An Phong - Tan Binh ferry terminal project, the Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Project Management Board to urgently complete the remaining items, to complete the 2 terminals of the An Phong - Tan Binh ferry terminal project in August 2025, as a basis for carrying out procedures, putting the An Phong - Tan Binh ferry terminal into operation and use.
For the above key transport projects, Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang directed that if they encounter difficulties, they must be urgently resolved to speed up the project implementation progress; in which, focusing all resources and equipment to speed up receiving sand to the construction site.
