Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that according to the report of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway, Phase 1 (Component Project 1) achieved the disbursement value of the capital plan for 2025 of 133 billion VND (reaching 100%).
Component project 1 has selected 16/16 contractors for the package. To implement package No. 14 (construction drawing design and construction), the contractor mobilized more than 300 personnel and more than 140 pieces of equipment to organize the construction. The service road, main route and branch routes of intersections and continuous runways have been completed. The project's demand for sand for embankment materials of about 2.3 million m3 has been fully met.
For Component Project 2, the entire 83.345 ha (reaching 100%) and the entire 11.43 km length of the main route (reaching 100%) have been handed over. In the old Dong Thap province, existing resettlement areas are used for resettlement. In the old Tien Giang province, construction of 01 resettlement area is underway, expected to be completed in July 2025.
To effectively exploit the Component Project 1 of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway after completion, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province will continue to recommend the Ministry of Construction to direct the My Thuan Project Management Board to soon start construction and have solutions to speed up the implementation of the My An - Cao Lanh Expressway project, especially the section from the National Highway 30 intersection to the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway intersection.
Regarding capital allocation for the project, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province will also continue to recommend the Ministry of Finance to soon add 350 billion VND from the central budget in 2025 for Component Project 1.
