From March 15th to the end of March 31st, the Hanoi Department of Construction adjusts traffic organization to serve the construction of the Trung Thu road cross culvert and culvert, drainage station on To Huu street, belonging to the Me Tri headwater lake (Dong Bong 2 lake) construction investment project, Dai Mo ward.
Accordingly, to construct the culvert through Trung Thu street, the contractor will install fixed barriers across the route with corrugated iron fences at both ends of the construction area. The Department of Construction prohibits cars from circulating on Trung Thu street, the section from To Huu street intersection to Dong Soi street intersection.
The contractor also built a temporary bypass for motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles to circulate in both directions on Trung Thu street.
Regarding the traffic diversion plan, the Department of Construction adjusts traffic organization so that vehicles can circle through the construction area in the directions: To Huu street - Luong The Vinh/Ring Road 3 - Cuong Kien and the opposite direction.
The Department of Construction requests the investor (City Technical and Agricultural Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board) and the contractor to focus on construction and complete it within 15 days to restore the road surface; and at the same time arrange forces to be on duty 24/24 hours at the construction area to guide and divert traffic, avoiding congestion.
Relevant units must install guide signs and remote traffic diversion at locations: Do Duc Duc street (intersection with Ring Road 3, Mieu Dam street intersection); Mieu Dam street in front of Me Tri overpass; Cuong Kien street in front of the roundabout; Trung Thu street in front of the intersection with Dai Linh street; Luong The Vinh street in front of To Huu street intersection.
For the culvert and drainage station items on To Huu street, the contractor barricades the construction area with mobile corrugated iron fences, the width occupying the road surface from 3-3.5m; the remaining road section is about 3.5-4m wide and the BRT lane. Construction will be carried out and the road surface will be restored at night. In this area, vehicles are divided traffic on the spot and move on the remaining road section.
The Me Tri (Dong Bong 2) headwater reservoir project is being implemented by the Hanoi People's Committee under an emergency order. This is an important infrastructure project to handle flooding black spots, ensuring drainage capacity for the entire Dai Mo ward and surrounding areas.
Currently, the construction unit is focusing on deploying, striving to complete before April 30, 2026 to promptly put the project into service to prevent flooding in the upcoming rainy season.
