The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the Tu Lien bridge project across the Red River and the Ring Road 3 project through Dong Anh, with a total investment of more than 20,000 billion VND.

On April 1, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a decision approving component project 2 to invest in the construction of Tu Lien bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge, from the intersection with Nghi Tam street to the intersection with Truong Sa street.

Location of Tu Lien Bridge and the road at both ends of the bridge (from the intersection with Nghi Tam Street to the intersection with Truong Sa Street) in Tay Ho, Long Bien districts and Dong Anh district, with a land use area of about 62.71 hectares. The total length of the study area is about 5.15km.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, with a total estimated investment of over VND 15,000 billion, to be implemented in 2025 - 2027.

The project is expected to improve traffic conditions connecting through the Red River, promote the urbanization process of the area as a premise for the implementation of the policy of population relaxation, reducing traffic pressure in the central area of ​​the city and reducing the load for Chuong Duong, Long Bien, Nhat Tan, Thang Long and Vinh Tuy Bridge.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigns the investor to take responsibility before the law for the accuracy of the volume and funding; results of structural calculation and legality of the dossier submitted to the approval; The capacity of organizations and individuals participating in consulting investment projects; The rationality of design solutions in the basic design.

Last week, the Hanoi People's Committee also approved the investment project to build the Ring Road 3 section through Dong Anh district.

The project is invested by the People's Committee of Dong Anh district, with an estimated investment capital of VND 5,413 billion, implemented in 2025 - 2028.

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the goal of investment projects is to gradually improve the frame transport infrastructure system of Dong Anh district according to the plan, complete the closed of Ring Road 3 north of the Red River.

According to the design, the cross-section is from 61m to 68m with 6 lanes for motor vehicles on the main route and 2 parallel roads.

The route also passes through three large bridges including the Northeast over Thang Long Bridge and Phu Dong Bridge, the south of the route over Thanh Tri Bridge.
