Information from the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police said that on the morning of November 18, the Traffic Police force inspected and handled many buses moving in the wrong direction, causing congestion in the area north of Chuong Duong Bridge, making it difficult for vehicles to travel through the bridge.
One of the reasons was determined to be that some buses were not running on the correct route. Instead of going straight along Nguyen Van Cu Street to get to the bridge, some vehicles turned to Hong Tien - Xuan Quan De, then joined the traffic flow at the Chuong Duong bridgehead, causing traffic conflicts and congestion at the intersection.
Faced with the above situation, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 has deployed forces to guide traffic flow, at the same time inspect and strictly handle violations.
During the morning rush hour, the working group discovered that bus routes 17, 43, 48, 54, 55 were not complying with the correct route and route according to regulations. All violations were recorded; at the same time, the Traffic Police force requested the transport units to thoroughly implement the route and routes approved by competent authorities to avoid affecting general traffic.
To ensure traffic order and safety, the Traffic Police Department recommends that transportation businesses and bus drivers strictly follow the approved roadmap. During traffic, drivers must strictly comply with the system of signs, light signals and the regulation of the authorities. Cases of intentional violations will be strictly handled according to the provisions of the law.
