On August 29, the Office of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said that the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the project to invest in building the Gia Nghia - Bao Lam dynamic road.
The project is invested by Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 3, using the central budget and provincial budget.

The road is about 8.87 km long, passing through Dong Gia Nghia ward and Bao Lam 5 commune.
The starting point intersects with Dao Nghia - Quang Khe road; the ending point intersects with the road to Dong Nai 4 hydropower plant, National Highway 55 planning.
The project is designed according to level III delta road standards, speed of 80 km/h, scale of 4 lanes.
The roadbed is 12 m wide in normal sections and 21.5 m in difficult terrain areas.
Notably, the Dong Nai river bridge construction project is about 1.17 km long. In which, the main cable-stayed span is 350 m long, the cross-section is 25.3 m wide at the tower pier position, including 4 main lanes and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles and motorbikes.

According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the connection between Bao Lam is mainly through National Highway 28.
However, the road has complex terrain and geology, and landslides often occur, affecting traffic and goods transportation.
The Gia Nghia - Bao Lam dynamic road is expected to open a new connection direction, shortening the distance between the two areas from about 41 km to 15 km.
The project also creates favorable conditions for transporting goods, especially goods for export.
The project aims to form a connecting axis between the Western Central Highlands and the Southeast Central Highlands, while increasing links with the South Central Coast and Southeast.
When completed, the route is expected to promote the efficiency of traffic projects that have been and are being invested in, connecting economic centers, seaports, expanding development space and creating more motivation for socio-economic development for the region.
