On November 18, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that it had issued instructions on traffic flow and organization of the Prenn Pass section Km224+600 - Km224+700 in Xuan Huong - Da Lat ward and National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass) during the repair and overcoming of landslides.

Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, from November 15 to 17, many locations on Prenn Pass (section belonging to Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward) and National Highway 27C (section passing through Nam Khanh Vinh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province) experienced serious landslides. Some points are at risk of further landslides if not handled promptly.
Currently, National Highway 27C from Da Lat to Khanh Hoa province has temporarily stopped traffic. People are advised to travel by alternative routes.

Direction 1: From Da Lat, go National Highway 20 to Mimosa Pass, when reaching Phi Nom intersection, turn left onto National Highway 27 to go to Khanh Hoa. Route 2 along National Highway 20 to Mimosa Pass, go to Dong Nai Province, turn onto National Highway 1A and then go to Khanh Hoa.
Direction 3: From Da Lat, follow DT.725 road through Ta Nung pass, reach km31, turn right onto National Highway 27 to go to Dak Lak then go to National Highway 26 to go to Khanh Hoa.
Prenn Pass prohibits all people and vehicles from passing through the section Km224+600 - Km224+700, so there are alternative routes to the center of Da Lat.
In the direction of Mimosa Pass, vehicles are allowed to travel in both directions. In the direction of Tuyen Lam Lake (Sacom Tuyen Lam Pass): All vehicles, except trucks, are allowed to travel from Lien Khuong Expressway to the center of Da Lat and vice versa.
The diversion period will be applied until Lam Dong Department of Construction has a new notice.
Also on the morning of November 18, Ngoan Che Pass (also known as Song Pha Pass, National Highway 27,) was basically opened to traffic, after a period of temporary road closure due to serious landslides. This is also the route connecting Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces.

Regarding the route from the old Binh Thuan to the administrative center of Lam Dong province (Da Lat), there are currently many routes. However, Dai Ninh Pass (National Highway 28B) is implementing an upgrade and expansion project, so the road is bad and often has landslides during heavy rain.
Gia Bac Pass (National Highway 28) has also experienced many landslides in recent times. Many drivers have chosen to travel on National Highway 55 to Bao Loc Pass, to National Highway 20 to Da Lat to reduce the risk of landslides.
