Information from Management Board 85 (Ministry of Transport) said that the unit has just approved the results of selecting contractors for Package 15-XL (Construction of Dai Ngai 1 Bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge, under the Dai Ngai Bridge Construction Investment Project on National Highway 60 in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang).
According to Decision No. 3665, the winning contractor for Package 15-XL is Dai Ngai Bridge 1 Joint Venture, including the following units: Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company, Trung Nam Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company, Thai Yen Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, Thanh Long Group Joint Stock Company, Bac Trung Nam Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company, Khang Nguyen Infrastructure Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492, and Dinh An Group Limited Company.
Package XL15 is worth 3,867 billion VND. The implementation period is 1,250 days from the date of signing the construction contract.
Dai Ngai 1 Bridge is 3.3km long, the main bridge is 2.59km long, 21.5m wide, crossing Dinh An channel of Hau River (connecting Tra Cu district, Tra Vinh province to Cu Lao Dung district, Soc Trang province).
The main cable-stayed bridge has 2 A-shaped towers 110m high (from the bridge deck), main span diagram (210+450+210)m. This is the 2nd largest cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam, after Can Tho bridge and equal to Vam Cong bridge.
The project is expected to be completed in 2028.
