On the morning of December 4, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said that due to heavy rain lasting from the afternoon of December 3 to early this morning, Mimosa Pass continued to experience serious landslides.
The landslide forced the authorities to temporarily suspend traffic to ensure safety and deploy handling measures.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police, the landslide occurred right on the temporary road that had just been opened, passing through Km226+600 to Km226+800 ( Mimosa Pass).

The landslide caused a large amount of rock and soil to spill onto the road, cutting off a section of the newly opened temporary road, temporarily blocking traffic through here.

After the landslide occurred, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Police quickly arrived to coordinate with Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward and related units to temporarily block traffic in both directions through Prenn Pass; at the same time, deploy leveling measures to soon clear the scene for the route.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the night of November 19, heavy rain caused serious landslides, breaking the section through Km226+600 to Km226+800 ( Mimosa Pass) National Highway 20. The landslide has caused traffic disruption on Mimosa Pass for more than 10 days.

After the repair period, starting from 6:00 p.m. on November 30, people and vehicles are allowed to travel again on the Mimosa Pass - National Highway 20 route.
Many fallen forest trees have also appeared on Prenn Pass and Sa Com Pass, which have been handled by authorities to ensure traffic.

Meanwhile, on the morning of December 4, Mr. Dinh Viet Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of D'Ran commune, said that on National Highway 20, from the pontoon bridge to the commune center, another landslide appeared. Here, a large amount of soil and trees fell onto the road, making it impossible for vehicles to circulate.
