Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee informed that as of September 11, the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road project phase IIb has now handed over 88% of the site; the realized value reached 90% of the contract value.
The Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road project phase IIa, component 1, has now handed over 90% of the route length. Accumulated realized value reached 91% of the contract value; 11.4/13.28 km of road surface asphalt paving has been completed, reaching 85% of the route length.
These are projects invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Through actual inspection of the project on September 10, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee - requested the investor to proactively coordinate closely with relevant units and localities, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles; and accelerate the project implementation progress.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang requested the Land Fund Development Center to focus on definitively resolving cases that have been approved for compensation plans but have not received money, have not handed over land; urgently complete the work of approving compensation plans for the remaining area before September 15, 2026, ensuring the completion of the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road Project phase IIa, component 1 in 2026 and fully open the route according to the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
For the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road Project, site clearance has now reached 86.2%. Construction value reached 961/2.382 billion VND, equal to 40.3% of the contract construction value. However, site clearance has not been continuous; some sections do not have service road access, affecting the organization of simultaneous construction of items and accelerating the construction progress of the project.
Through inspection, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang requested units and localities to focus on thoroughly handling obstacles related to compensation and site clearance; creating favorable conditions for contractors to complete the remaining items according to the set plan.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently complete all procedures and related confirmation dossiers, as a basis for the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the investor to develop and complete plans and focus on implementing appraisal and approval of compensation plans, ensuring the completion of approval of the entire remaining area of the main road and resettlement areas, and reburial of graves.
At the same time, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center urgently accelerates the implementation progress, completes procedures, ensures early completion of publicizing and listing plans and submitting for appraisal and approval for the remaining agricultural and non-agricultural land area.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the construction unit to focus manpower and equipment, promote construction, organize simultaneous construction in areas where land has been cleared, proactively develop appropriate construction plans, and take advantage of favorable weather to increase the implementation volume, ensuring project progress according to plan.
