According to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project has a total investment of 3,500 billion VND, with implementation time from 2022 - 2027.
The route has a length of 26.88 km; the starting point intersects with Tri Binh - Dung Quat road, the ending point connects to Hoang Sa road. The total planned construction area of the main route is 172.16 ha, passing through 6 communes and wards: Binh Son, Van Tuong, Dong Son, Tho Phong, Tinh Khe and Truong Quang Trong.
Regarding compensation and site clearance for the main route, up to now, 79 compensation plans have been approved for more than 133 hectares (reaching more than 77%); site handover has reached more than 74%. Contractor selection has been completed; construction packages, construction supervision and construction insurance have been signed. Currently, contractors are preparing documents and procedures necessary to deploy construction.
In addition, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center is coordinating with the People's Committees of communes and wards to focus on accelerating the progress of site clearance in resettlement areas and cemetery relocation areas. Accumulated construction value to date has reached more than 31% of the construction value according to the contract.
According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project is of particular importance in completing the transport infrastructure system, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development of the province in the coming period.
Provincial leaders acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility, effort, and proactiveness of the Project Management Board, contractors, units and localities in the implementation process; and shared the difficulties and obstacles arising.
Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requests units to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, focus resources, and be determined to implement, ensuring the progress and quality of works according to the plan and set goals.
In the coming time, departments, branches, units and related localities need to identify site clearance as a key task; focus on leading and directing throughout; implement legal regulations correctly, coordinate closely, and not let obstacles arise affecting the overall progress.
Regarding the adjustment of land prices, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang directed relevant agencies to urgently survey and advise on building appropriate coefficients, ensuring harmony of interests between parties, creating conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly; and at the same time proactively develop plans to ensure the supply of raw materials for construction.
Localities continue to maintain the effective operation of the Steering Committee for key projects; strengthen propaganda and mobilization, create consensus among the people; focus on thoroughly handling existing problems, creating favorable premises for implementing subsequent key projects.
