On the evening of February 15, the commander of the No. 1 Highway Traffic Police Team (Team 1, Traffic Police Department) said that the unit had just drawn up an administrative violation record against the driver who turned around on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, causing traffic insecurity.
Accordingly, after receiving feedback from social networks about the case of a car with license plate 30E-364.xx turning around on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, Team 1 identified the driver who violated the law as Mr. T.N.T. (28 years old, residing in Thuong Tin district, Hanoi).
Working with the traffic police, driver T. admitted that at around 12:30 on February 14, he was driving a car to Lao Cai, and when reaching Km198, he turned around due to a wrong road.
Explaining this dangerous act, driver T. said that while traveling, he used Google Maps, but because he did not know how to watch it, he went backwards and turned the car around. In addition, the driver realized that his behavior was causing traffic insecurity and promised not to repeat the offense.
Currently, Team 1 has drawn up an administrative violation record for Mr. T. for the violation of turning around a car on the highway, fined him 35 million VND and deducted 10 points from his driver's license.
