As noted by Labor on August 2, many workers and machinery were mobilized to complete the construction of the Xuan Dieu Street upgrading project (Tay Ho district).
This is a key project of Tay Ho district, with a total investment of more than 388 billion VND, to be implemented from 2020.
The project has a length of about 1.1km (starting point intersects with To Ngoc Van street, ending point intersects with Au Co street), expanded on the basis of the existing road, in which the roadbed is 10.5m wide, the sidewalk is 5m wide. .
After 4 years of construction, the Xuan Dieu Street upgrading project has been basically completed and the technical route is nearly 1km open.
The remaining section of the route has a length of more than 100m and has not been able to be constructed for many years due to land problems with a total area of 712.02m2.
According to Tay Ho District Construction Investment Project Management Board (representative of the investor), to implement the project, Tay Ho District People's Committee issued a decision to recover more than 6,500 square meters of land related to 159 cases.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Tay Ho district has approved compensation and support plans for 159/159 cases. Basically, all cases agree with the State's policy and agree to hand over the premises.
By April 2024, there were still 11 cases.
To soon complete the project, on April 24, Tay Ho District Construction Investment Project Management Board coordinated with Quang An Ward People's Committee to organize site clearance enforcement (phase 1) with 5 cases.
In the process of persuasion, there were 3 cases of signing minutes of site handover and requesting not to carry out forced land recovery . Therefore, Tay Ho District People's Committee implemented enforcement in 2 cases and 5 projects.
With the remaining 6 cases, Tay Ho district authorities conducted enforcement on June 7 and 8 (phase 2).
During the process of persuasion, there were 3 cases of signing minutes of site handover and requesting not to carry out forced land recovery.
Tay Ho District People's Committee organized the enforcement of land recovery for 3 cases and cleared 6 construction works.
The investor said that he is currently mobilizing machinery and workers to speed up the construction progress of the remaining section of the project.
It is expected that the project will be completed and technically opened to traffic on the 70th anniversary of the Capital's Liberation Day (October 10, 2024), in sync with the technical opening of the Au Co - Nghi Tam route to resolve regional traffic congestion. .
