Accident on Mai Dich overpass, Hanoi Ring Road 3 congested for 6km

Hanoi - The accident between a car and a motorbike on the Mai Dich overpass left 1 person dead, traffic on Ring Road 3 was congested for many kilometers.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, at around 7am, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung (a resident) said that at around 7am, while traveling on Mai Dich overpass (towards Nam Thang Long - My Dinh), he witnessed an accident between a limousine passenger bus (Phu Tho control boat) and a motorbike (Hanoi control boat) driven by a technology driver.

At the scene, the motorbike taxi driver fell onto the road, lying on the road, the motorbike was close to the overpass.

"The accident took up one lane, so traveling here was difficult" - Mr. Tung said.

After receiving the report, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 coordinated with functional forces to go to the scene to direct traffic and clarify the cause of the incident.

Initially, the authorities determined that the motorbike driver had died.

The accident occurred during rush hour, causing serious traffic congestion on the elevated Ring Road 3 from Dong Ngac to Mai Dich overpass (about 6km long).
