CƯỜNG NGÔ - KHÁNH AN |

On the afternoon of January 25, the road from the Bac Thang Long toll station to the turnoff to Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway was congested for a long time.

Traveling from Hanoi to his hometown in Vinh Phuc on the first day of the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (30 years old) had to spend 20 minutes traveling a 2.5km stretch of road - from the Bac Thang Long toll station to the turnoff to Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

"I have been in this area since 5pm, but by 5:20pm, I still haven't passed the intersection. The traffic has to move little by little to move," said Mr. Tuan.

According to Lao Dong's records on the afternoon of January 25 (ie 26th of Tet), many roads in the capital have begun to clear up. However, some gateway areas are experiencing congestion.

On the road from the Bac Thang Long toll station to the turnoff to Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, a long line of cars moved slowly.

Traffic participants had to wait for dozens of red lights before they could exit.

In this area, the Traffic Police force was present to direct and regulate traffic, reducing congestion.
