Initial information, at around 6:30 p.m. on April 29, a motorbike with license plate 36B8-496.xx carrying 2 people was traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Ninh Binh - Hanoi, when reaching Thanh Hai commune (Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province), when it collided behind a homemade steel trailer.
The collision caused the young man driving the motorbike to die on the spot, the young man sitting behind to be injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Ha Nam province, upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police force mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene, took the victims to the emergency room and divert traffic, and regulate traffic to avoid causing congestion.
The two victims were identified as being from Thanh Hoa. The cause of the accident is being clarified by the authorities.
