The Oregon University golf team will participate in The Prestige 2026 tournament in the US from February 16 to 18. 2. According to the registration of Oregon University, Nguyen Anh Minh continues to participate in the competition.
With such a schedule, Nguyen Anh Minh will play right on the 1st day of Tet (Vietnam time).
The Prestige 2026 tournament attracts 24 golf teams from universities in the West Coast region of the United States. The tournament belongs to the NCAA system in US professional universities.
Nguyen Anh Minh is studying in the US, so he will not return to Vietnam at this time. The Prestige 2026 tournament is the 2nd consecutive competition program where Nguyen Anh Minh and his teammates compete for the Oregon University golf team.
Previously, Nguyen Anh Minh and golfers from Oregon University ranked 8th in the Amer Ari Invitational 2026 tournament held in Hawaii (USA). For Nguyen Anh Minh personally, the Vietnamese player scored -17 and ranked 5th individually in the above tournament.
For the first time, Nguyen Anh Minh scored such a record point.
Mr. Minh is the only Vietnamese student currently named in the Oregon University golf team. The male player has been awarded a scholarship here, so he is given the opportunity to both study culture and compete in golf in tournaments in the US.
Last year, Nguyen Anh Minh participated in SEA Games 33 and won a silver individual medal and a bronze team medal in Thailand. Anh Minh is currently ranked 41st in the world at amateur men's golf.
