On the morning of December 3, giving a speech at the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city, term 2025-2030, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, oriented the key tasks that are of breakthrough nature for the Front's work in the new development stage of the city after the merger.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang acknowledged and commended the great contributions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the past term. Despite many challenges, the Front has truly been a solid bridge, mobilizing people's strength, maintaining its role as the political basis of the government, effectively implementing the motto "People know - people discuss - people do - people inspect - people supervise - people benefit".
Entering the new phase, the Secretary of the City Party Committee has suggested 5 core issues, requiring the Front's work to have a strong transformation. In which the top task was emphasized is to continue building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, turning the Vietnam Fatherland Front into a center of solidarity, gathering all social forces.
In particular, to promote its role as the political basis of the people's government, the Front needs to strengthen its function of supervision and social criticism.
"We must focus on monitoring the activities of party organizations and governments, focusing on monitoring ethics, lifestyle, regulations on setting examples for cadres and party members and issues of concern to the people. Debate must be sharp, responsible, and put the interests of the people first" - City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang directed.
The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee requested the Front to strongly innovate in the direction of " substantially - practically - un needing daycare". Promote digital transformation, build a "Digital Front Gate" and effectively implement the "People's Listener" model to ensure that no opinions or recommendations of the people are left out. Emulation movements must aim at the ultimate goal of forming "Solidarity - prosperity - happiness" residential areas.
To carry out the above tasks, Party committees and authorities at all levels need to create all conditions and effectively operate the motto "Party leadership - State management - People are the masters", thereby building a close relationship: "Party - people trust; Front mobilizes - people follow; Government does - people support".
The Secretary of the City Party Committee expressed his belief that with the leading role of the Front, the strength of people's solidarity will be a great motivation for Da Nang to enter a period of breakthrough and sustainable development, worthy of being a city worthy of living in the Asian region.
