Dak Lak - Provincial functional agencies have carried out supervision of the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level after operating the 2-level government.

On September 9, 2026, Supervisory Delegation No. 281 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, led by Mr. Pham Van Bay - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, worked with Krong Nang Commune People's Committee and Phu Xuan Commune People's Committee.

The working content is related to the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level associated with the responsibility of the head according to Regulation No. 124-QD/TW of the Secretariat.

According to reports, in the past time, Krong Nang and Phu Xuan communes have proactively coordinated, thoroughly grasped, and seriously implemented regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level. The exemplary responsibility of the head, the work of receiving citizens, dialogue and resolving legitimate petitions of the People has gradually become systematic.

In Krong Nang commune, the locality has implemented a number of effective models and methods such as "Month of Listening to the People", interactive portal "24/7 Digital Front"; coordinated to organize 5 voter contact conferences with more than 450 voters attending, recording 37 opinions.

In particular, in the process of collecting people's opinions on the Project on arranging and reorganizing villages and hamlets, communes have been implemented in 40/40 old villages and hamlets, with 7,665/9,979 households participating, achieving a high consensus rate.

In Phu Xuan commune, the locality has issued Operating Regulations, Regulations on Citizen Reception and signed regulations on coordination of work with the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune.

During the period, the commune received 58 turns of citizens, received 65 letters of reflection, petitions, complaints, and denunciations; organized a dialogue between the heads of Party committees and authorities and union members and youth.

Speaking in conclusion, Mr. Pham Van Bay - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of 2 communes in deploying democracy at the grassroots level, especially after switching to the 2-level local government model.

He proposed that localities continue to well implement the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level; strengthen grasping the situation of the People, receiving citizens, resolving petitions; proactively overcome limitations, improve the quality of implementing democracy associated with administrative reform, digital transformation and citizen reception work.
