Giving gifts to support people on the Vietnam - Laos border affected by floods

Quang Tri - Ba Nang Border Guard Station coordinated with volunteer units to present hundreds of gifts to support villages in Laos and Vietnam that suffered heavy damage after floods.

On December 1, Ba Nang Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) said that through discussions with border villages opposite Dakrong commune, Ba Nang Border Guard Station grasped many villages in Cluster III, Sa Muoi district ( Salavan province, Laos) such as A Xoc, Ho, Ta Riep that are being seriously affected by floods.

After the flood in November 2025 occurred in the above villages, crops were washed away, cattle died, roads were damaged, making it difficult to travel; many students lacked books due to water and damage.

To support people in villages affected by floods, on the morning of December 1, at milestone 618, Ba Nang Border Guard Station coordinated with the volunteer group of the popular Tam Ky Augustinian Order in Tay Ninh and the Dakrong Commune General Service Center to present 400 gifts.

Each portion includes necessities such as rice, salt, cooked noodles, instant noodles, fish sauce, worth 400,000 VND. Of which, there are 299 tournaments for Lao regions and 121 tournaments to support Sa Tram region (Vietnam) with a total cost of more than 160 million VND.

The gifts not only help people overcome immediate difficulties but also demonstrate the affection between the two sides of the border, contributing to building a border of peace, friendship and long-term development.
