The Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion 2 project invested by Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation is one of the projects identified by Bac Ninh province as the focus of the 2024-2025 period.
The project has a scale of more than 140 hectares, deployed in Chi Lang commune and Phuong Lieu, Bong Lai, Que Vo wards.
According to the report, the project has so far paid compensation for 62.3/92.9 hectares (67.06%), with a total amount of about 268.34 billion VND
The investor is leveling 1.5 hectares in Bong Lai ward, preparing to hand over lots B and C to the investor.
However, the site clearance process still has some difficulties such as verifying the origin of the land, some households have not received compensation, problems in relocating graves and intersecting infrastructure with the Yen Vien - Pha Lai railway line.
Bac Ninh province has requested departments, branches and localities to increase propaganda, mobilization, and clearly explain the significance of the project for socio-economic development; at the same time, take advantage of the end of the year to handle the tomb, creating high consensus among the people.
Along with the Que Vo Industrial Park 2 expansion project, My Thai Industrial Park (invested by Viet Uc Steel Joint Stock Company) is also being strongly promoted by Bac Ninh. This industrial park project is located in My Thai commune and part of Duong Duc commune and Voi town, with a scale of nearly 160 hectares, of which phase 1 is 50 hectares wide.
To date, the project has compensated more than 37 hectares. The remaining area is facing problems mainly due to the cadastral records going through many stages, incorrect land use locations between the actual land use and the certificate, or many households do not have a first certificate. Some cases of long-term land compensation have made it difficult for people and villages to remember the exact land plot, making it difficult to review and verify.
The People's Committee of My Thai commune and related units are focusing on re- inventorying land funds, verifying users, and at the same time mobilizing people to coordinate to approve compensation plans. The goal is to complete the land acquisition phase 1 in December 2025, thereby meeting the conditions for investors to speed up infrastructure construction.
Currently, Bac Ninh has 36 IPs established with a scale of over 10,600 hectares and according to the plan, it will develop to 50 IPs, with a total area exceeding 15,000 hectares.
The province's industrial infrastructure is also being supported by strategic projects such as Gia Binh International Airport - a 4F standard airport with a scale of nearly 1,960 hectares, expected to open up new growth space for logistics, services and high-tech industry in the next decade.
