The capital mobilized from customers also increased by 12.34% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching VND 66,743 billion, contributing to ensuring liquidity for lending activities.
core business activities also recorded positive results. Net interest income after 9 months reached more than 891 billion VND.
Notably, the buying and selling of commercial securities brought 2.7 times more profit than the same period last year, becoming an important growth driver. Investment stock trading activities have also recorded a return to profit.
At the end of the first 9 months of 2025, BAOVIET Bank recorded pre-tax profit of VND 58.6 billion, an outstanding increase over the same period.
Speaking to Lao Dong, a representative of BAOVIET Bank said that regarding credit orientation, the bank said it has proactively restructured its investment portfolio, including reducing the proportion of investment in corporate bonds and prioritizing capital for strategic segments such as individual customers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
At the same time, digital transformation indicators also showed positive results. The bank has attracted more than 39,000 new users to the BAOVIET Smart application and 21,500 new users on the Internet Banking platform, helping this segment exceed the 2025 plan.
Card issuance activities are also bustling with nearly 1,900 new domestic credit cards issued, equivalent to 93% of the yearly plan.
According to research, this bank has also had credit packages with a total scale of VND 1,400 billion in the past, including VND 600 billion for individual customers, VND 300 billion for SME businesses and VND 500 billion for construction and installation businesses.
A representative of BAOVIET Bank said that in addition, in business activities, the bank continues to demonstrate social responsibility. The bank has donated more than 400 million VND to the Fund to support the recovery of flood consequences after storms No. 9, 10 and 11, causing heavy damage in many northern and north central provinces.
