On May 24, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province said that it had a meeting to consider and give opinions on the draft decision approving the construction zoning plan, scale 1/2,000 of eco-tourism, resorts and entertainment areas on Tha La peninsula, Dau Tieng lake.
Binh Duong provincial leaders suggested that the construction planning of works must be harmonious, avoiding disruption of the landscape of the area.
Develop planning areas according to ecological standards, be environmentally friendly, and take advantage of natural landscape resources.
The province also requires creating the image of a high-end tourism area including services: eco-tourism, eco-resorts, seminar tourism, connecting entertainment with tourist attractions on the mountain, water surface, and experiential sightseeing activities into a high-quality closed tour.
Regarding the planning area, it will belong to the administrative boundary of Dinh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng district. The East borders Nui Cau protective forest and DH Road 703. The west and north borders Dau Tieng Lake. The South borders Dau Tieng Lake and DH 703 Road.
The total area of the planning area is about 458 hectares, including 36 hectares of natural lake surface.
The tourist area will build about 4,880 rooms including hotels and various low-rise accommodation facilities.
The maximum capacity and tolerance for the day is forecasted to be about 61,601 people. The maximum number of visitors per accommodation can accommodate about 13,613 people.
When put into operation, the tourist area will create direct and indirect jobs for about 16,000 people.
