At the 6-month review conference on the market supply of gasoline and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 held on the morning of June 25, 2025, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said that in the last six months of 2025, there are many factors affecting and affecting the management of gasoline supply for the economy.
In that context, the Minister emphasized the common goals in the last 6 months of 2025 and the following years is to ensure adequate supply of gasoline and oil in all situations; to maintain a stable price level, closely following world gasoline and oil prices; and to be stable in terms of system and benefits.
To achieve these goals, for unit enterprises and distributors, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien suggested continuing to thoroughly implement the instructions of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, relevant ministries and branches on petroleum trading. correctly and fully implement the plan to allocate output for the whole year, quarterly and monthly, as well as other mandatory tasks (regarding port warehouses, laboratories, means of transportation, mandatory reserves, setting up a Stabilization Fund, electronic invoices, etc.).
According to calculations, the total amount of petroleum consumed in the last 6 months of 2025 is expected to be about 13.2 million m3/ton. The unit traders have planned to ensure a total supply of 14.3 million m3/ton, maintaining inventory of about 1.5 million m3/ton.
