On the afternoon of November 28, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward urgently announced the temporary suspension of all business activities of establishments in the sea dyke area that collapsed along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street in Ham Tien 1 Quarter.

Accordingly, from Mr Crab restaurant - branch 2 to Thanh Oanh restaurant, seafood restaurants in this area must temporarily suspend operations from November 28 until further notice.
The announcement was made after large waves continuously hit the seawall, causing damage and landslides on the afternoon of November 27. A section of about 150m of the sea embankment in the above area was eroded at the foot of the embankment, the concrete components of the embankment roof subsided, causing instability in the structure.

Although the locality has temporarily reinforced the landslide area. However, the landslide location is currently likely to widen by about 500m. This directly affects a series of seafood shops along the Ham Tien embankment - a familiar dining spot for tourists when coming here.

In addition to requiring the above facilities to temporarily suspend operations, the locality also requested facilities to build items to expand the embankment area, directly affecting the embankment structure, and posing a risk of insecurity when big waves impact, and must urgently dismantle before November 30, 2025.
