On August 30, the People's Committee of Phu Bai Ward (Hue City) announced that it had just held a ceremony to hand over the decision to change the land use purpose and lease land to Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company to implement the Investment Project for construction and business of infrastructure of Gilimex Industrial Park.
According to the decision, the enterprise was leased more than 3 million m2 of land in subdivisions A and B, with a term of use until March 10, 2021. The lease is annual payment, not through auction of land use rights.
The leader of Phu Bai Ward People's Committee affirmed that the handover of land is of great significance, helping to speed up the project's progress, create a clean land fund, serve industrial development, and attract investment. At the same time, businesses are required to use land for the right purpose, ensure progress and fully comply with legal regulations.
The project is expected to expand the industrial space in the South of Hue City, create jobs and increase local budget revenue.
