The popularity of online sales channels and social networking platforms makes it increasingly difficult for consumers to distinguish between real and fake. Meanwhile, the legal corridor and inspection and control work in some localities are still limited, leading to violations still existing widely through unofficial channels.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Chief of Office of the National Steering Committee 389, affirmed that the participation of THVN is necessary in the fight against counterfeit and poor quality goods that are still painful.

According to Mr. Dung, to promote the program's effectiveness, there needs to be more synchronous participation from media agencies, especially Vietnam Television, to clearly reflect the real and dangerous face of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
It is necessary to enhance the responsibility of cadres, civil servants and people, as well as organize regular inspection teams. The program "Anti-fraud - Protecting users" will officially air at 5:10 p.m. every Friday on VTV1 - THVN channel. Each issue is 10 minutes long, produced periodically continuously in 2025 with a total of 52 episodes.
