On the morning of March 29, An An Hoa Industrial and Urban Zone Joint Stock Company, a member of Geleximco Group, started the Tam Anh - An An Hoa Industrial Park infrastructure project in Tam Anh commune, Da Nang City. This is a project to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2026).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, along with leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Military Region 5 and Da Nang City.
The project has a scale of more than 435ha, with a total investment of 4,152 billion VND, and is expected to become a new nucleus in attracting investment, especially high-tech FDI capital into the Central region.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai highly appreciated the efforts of Da Nang City and Geleximco Group in concretizing specific mechanisms and policies for local development.
He emphasized that Tam Anh - An An Hoa IP needs to become a model of combining industrial infrastructure development with environmental protection. At the same time, he proposed that Da Nang City and Geleximco Group implement the project with a drastic spirit, ensuring progress and quality, and soon make the industrial park an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
According to the leaders of the National Assembly, the project not only has the meaning of industrial development but also must contribute to creating stable jobs and improving the lives of workers in the locality.
Mr. Phan Thai Binh - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - said that Tam Anh - An An Hoa IP is a key project, realizing the goal of making Da Nang a high-tech industrial center of the region, while opening up a new direction in economic restructuring of the city.
We expect this IP to be a magnet attracting multinational corporations in the fields of electronics, semiconductor and precision mechanics. The city will create the most favorable conditions in terms of administrative procedures and investment environment so that businesses can confidently develop in the long term in a green and sustainable direction," Mr. Binh said.
Located in the center of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, Tam Anh - An An Hoa IP possesses a connectivity advantage when converging 5 types of transportation, directly interconnected with 4 deep-water ports and 2 international airports. This is considered an important foundation for the project to increase competitiveness in attracting large investors.
Notably, the project is planned according to the "urban industrial park" standard, integrating expert housing, conference centers, sports areas and commercial amenities. This model is suitable for the development orientation of a new type of industrial park, not only a production place but also a working and living space for high-quality human resources.
When completed, Tam Anh - An An Hoa IP is expected to create thousands of new jobs, make significant contributions to the budget, and strengthen links with neighboring industrial parks such as Chu Lai Truong Hai, Tam Thang, thereby promoting the key economic region of the Central region to develop strongly.
