On July 3, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council passed a resolution stipulating policies to support investment in technical infrastructure construction of industrial clusters in the area.
The new policy is expected to create motivation to attract businesses to invest, improve infrastructure of industrial clusters, promote sustainable industrial development and improve the efficiency of budget use.
According to the resolution, the State budget only supports investment in shared technical infrastructure works of industrial clusters and traffic routes connecting from outside to industrial clusters.
Items specifically for each secondary production and business project are not eligible for support.
To enjoy the policy, investors must meet conditions such as: The industrial cluster has been established or expanded according to regulations, in accordance with provincial planning and industrial cluster development plan; technical infrastructure construction investment projects have been approved by competent authorities...
Industrial clusters developing in the direction of industry linkage, specialization, supporting industry, ecological industry or associated with preserving traditional crafts will be prioritized for consideration and support.
The support level is applied according to the development conditions of each area. In which, projects in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions are supported up to 30% of the total investment; difficult areas are supported up to 25%; the remaining areas are supported up to 20%.
According to Mr. Dao My, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the investment in technical infrastructure of industrial clusters has faced many difficulties in the past, especially in remote and isolated areas.
Many investors lack capital, so the progress of infrastructure construction is slow, affecting the ability to attract secondary projects.
The new policy will create more resources to invest in synchronous infrastructure of industrial clusters, enhancing the attractiveness of the investment environment. Thereby, promoting the industrial and socio-economic development of the province in the new period" - Mr. Dao My said.
